EVERYTHING You Need to Know About the 'Mike's Bike Shop' Bike Swap
Why a Bike Swap?
For some time now, Mike's Bike Shop has been looking to find a way for our customers to sell an old bike or upgrade into that new bike they've been waiting for. Due to space and staffing constraints at our previous shop, a simple solution was not possible. Now at the NEW Mike's Bike Shop, we have much more space and staff to offer this HUGE annual event. The premise is as simple...you bring your bike down to the shop and let us sell it for you!
At Mike's Bike Shop - 67 Englehart Street, Dieppe, New Brunswick, E1A 8K2
Bike owners get 100% of amount received towards the purchase of a new bike (proceeds given as an in-store credit).
Mike's Bike Shop retains the right to negotiate on your behalf the selling price of your bike with a potential buyer (up to 10% variance of the agreed upon value).
Bike "owners" are requested to drop off their used bikes at the shop any time on Thursday, March 31, 2016. At that time your bike will be checked in, registered, and an asking price then agreed upon.
Photo identification will be REQUIRED with ALL bikes brought in.
Customers are welcome to bring their used bikes to the "swap" at any time over the weekend, BUT once the bike is checked in, it must stay until it sells! If the bike does NOT sell, it must be picked up between 4-5pm on Sunday (April 3, 2016) or during normal business hours on Monday. Bikes MUST be picked up by the end of day Monday, April 4, 2016 or there will be a $10.00 per day storage fee.
All bikes MUST have kickstands (if your bike currently does not have one, there will be kickstands available for purchase from the store).
All used bikes will have HST charged on the selling price.
Mike's Bike Shop is NOT liable for the condition of the bike, its working order, or any subsequent issues or claims!
All bikes are sold on an “AS IS, WHERE IS” basis!
Mike's Bike Shop is merely the selling agent for the bikes and never represents itself to be the owner.
